A weathered hillside deck brought completely back to life — sanded down to bare wood and refinished in a rich, deep stain that protects against the coastal weather.

Years of Pacifica sun and marine air had left this large multi-level deck silvered and gray. We took the entire structure — the main deck, the built-in perimeter benches, the lattice railings, the garden stairs, and the lower patio deck — back to bare wood, then refinished everything in a warm, semi-transparent stain that brings out the grain and seals the wood against the elements. The result restores the deck as the home's true outdoor living space, framing the eucalyptus and mountain views the property is built around.
